Child Safety Standards

Last updated: April 15, 2026

Our Commitment

Select 5 — published on Google Play by EJJ Systems and on the Apple App Store by Select5 LLC — is committed to creating a safe environment for everyone who uses our app. We have a zero-tolerance policy against child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including, but not limited to, child sexual abuse material (CSAM).

Select 5 is a dating and connection app intended exclusively for users aged 18 and older. Minors are strictly prohibited from creating accounts or using the App. We comply with all applicable laws regarding child safety, including the U.S. Federal Law 18 U.S.C. § 2258A and Google Play's Child Safety Standards Policy.

Prohibited Content & Conduct

The following content and conduct are strictly prohibited on Select 5 and will result in immediate account termination and reporting to the appropriate authorities, including the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC):

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form, including images, videos, text, audio, animations, illustrations, or AI-generated content depicting minors

• Sexualization or grooming of minors

• Solicitation, recruitment, or extortion of minors for sexual purposes

• Trafficking of minors

• Sexting or sharing of sexual content involving anyone under 18

• Attempts by adults to develop sexual or romantic relationships with minors

• Sharing personal information of minors

• Use of Select 5 by anyone under 18, including misrepresentation of age

Age Requirement & Verification

Select 5 enforces a strict 18+ age requirement:

• Users must provide their date of birth at sign-up. Accounts indicating an age under 18 are blocked from registration.

• Profile photos and content are reviewed for indicators of underage users.

• If we have any reason to believe a user is under 18, we will immediately suspend the account, conduct a review, and terminate the account if our suspicions are confirmed.

• Reports of suspected underage users are prioritized and acted on within 24 hours.

In-App Reporting Mechanism

Select 5 provides easy, in-app tools to report CSAE, suspected minors, or any other safety concern:

• Every user profile includes a "Report" option accessible from the profile screen.

• Every chat conversation includes a "Report" and "Block" option.

• Reports can be submitted with a category (including "Suspected Minor", "Sexual Content Involving a Minor", "Grooming", and "Other Safety Concern") and additional context.

• Users can also email reports directly to info@select5.app with the subject line "CSAE Report" for urgent escalation.

All reports are reviewed by our moderation team and acted on within 24 hours. Confirmed CSAE content is removed immediately, the responsible account is permanently banned, and the incident is reported to NCMEC and other relevant authorities as required by law.

Content Moderation & Enforcement

Select 5 uses a combination of automated systems and human review to detect and act on prohibited content:

• Automated scanning of uploaded images and text for known CSAM signatures and indicators of CSAE.

• Human moderators review reports and flagged content within 24 hours.

• Confirmed violations result in immediate, permanent account termination, content removal, and device-level bans where technically feasible.

• Records of moderation actions are retained for legal compliance and to prevent banned users from returning under new accounts.

Designated Child Safety Point of Contact

Select 5 has designated a child safety point of contact who is responsible for handling all CSAE-related reports, inquiries, and communications with regulators and law enforcement:
